The 2011 Michigan Celebrates Small Business event was held on April 28, 2011. Small business owners and supporters came from all across the state to show their support for the winners and support Michigan’s growing companies. On the night of the event, attendees were treated to an hour of hors d’oeuvres with live jazz, a dinner including full-course meal by the Lansing Center’s executive chef and the awards program. Governor Snyder gave the opening remarks for the awards program. There was also a keynote speech from Richard Sheridan of Menlo Innovations and awards were presented.
