Since moving to Lansing eight years ago from the nearby countryside, John has stayed busy helping to make the change that we need in our city. From creating and promoting cultural events that have drawn thousands of people into Lansing and helped retain many young people, to volunteering his time with various community service groups around the city, to starting a small business focused on growing creative expression in Lansing, he's worked tirelessly to grow a sense of community here. John loves Lansing, and his enthusiasm for the city he calls home is well known to anyone he's met.
