Lansing Rotary / Lansing 150 Time Capsule


The Lansing Rotary Club wrapped up the year-long Lansing 150 Celebration, announced the "I am Lansing" contest winner, and showcased the Lansing 150 Time Capsule on Friday, January 15, 2010 at the Lansing Center. The time capsule will be placed inside the base of a sculpture named "Construction #150" which was a gift to the city of Lansing in 1973 and is currently displayed on the campus of Lansing Community College.
An identifying plaque will be mounted at the base of the sculpture, indicating that the time capsule is inside. A graduate film class, headed by MSU Professor David Stowe, has put together a documentary about the Lansing 150 time capsule project which will be screened at the meeting. www.Lansing150.com More...
