http://www.okemosschools.net/ Now in its twelfth year, the annual "Taste of Okemos" allowed attendees to sample the culinary creations of Okemos & East Lansing area food establishments. The event, modeled after culinary festivals held in larger communities across the country, showcased area food vendors' culinary talents. Taste of Okemos 2011 featured nearly 30 Okemos & East Lansing area restaurants and food suppliers. Proceeds of the event are used to support the widely recognized vocal music program of Okemos High School. Last year's event raised over $6,000 for the OHS Vocal Music Program! The event was held Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Okemos High School Commons. |
